| The name ANSCO came from the Anthony & Scovill in 1902. American Ansco merged with German Agfa in 1928 to become Agfa Ansco. In 1939 the name was changed to General Aniline and Film Co. Cameras maintained the names Agfa and Ansco until 1967 when the company shortened it's name to its initials GAF. |
