1949 Canon IIB is considered a Leica copy. It differs from a screwmount Leica by having a combined rangefinder / viewfinder window at the rear. This model is the first with a 3 way magnification control for the viewfinder, which is located below the rewind knob. Slow speeds split a 1/20th of a second. The M39 Leica thread lens is a Canon f1.8 / 50mm non-collapsible lens. The camera set includes a Serenar f3.5 / 35mm wide angle lens and a Serenar f4 / 135mm telephoto lens.
