1962-63 Fed 3 (type a) is an intermediate model between
the Fed 2 and the final Fed 3b. The left side resembles the Fed 2, and
the right side of the stepped top plate, the later Fed 3. The
high shutter speed dial is unusual and characteristic of this model
only. This version of the Fed 3 was not in production for long and is
subsequently uncommon. This example has the correct f2.8 / 52mm Fed
Industar 26M lens.
