1935  Leica II (D) type 2 in chrome.  A satin chrome finish was first offered in 1933.  The distinguishing factor between type 1 and 2 is the diameter of the shutter speed dial. It is larger for the type 1. Both types came in black or chrome. 1935 was the last year for black screw mount Leicas.  There were several variations of the model II (D) type 2. This version has the 'toilet seat' front window. Attached to this example is an uncommon chrome version of the f2.5 / 50mm Hektor which was soon to be discontinued.
