1955 Nikon S2
was the first Nikon rangefinder camera to have the standard 24 X 36mm
format. The S2 has a larger viewfinder window than the Nikon S which
allows 1:1 viewing. A advance lever replaces the advance knob of the
Nikon S. The S2 had the largest production run of all Nikon rangefinder
cameras. A Nikkor-H-C f2 / 50mm lens is attached.
