2654 to 2659 plus 2643 (crop out the bottom where something intrudes into the shot) and 2662 & 2663 1951 Nikon S was the first Nikon to be imported to the USA. Image size is 24 X 32mm instead of the standard 24 X 36mm. This set has the extremely rare Made in Occupied Japan (MIOJ) W-Nikkor-C f3.5 35mm lens as well as an early MIOJ Nikkor-P f2 / 85mm lens and an early Nikkor-C f3.5 / 135mm lens. The standard 50mm lens is a Nikkor-H-C f2 / 50mm. Notice that all the lenses are engraved Nippon Kogaku Toyko instead of Nippon Kogaku Japan as all later lenses read. 2648 to 2652 and 2660 1955 Nikon S2 was the first Nikon rangefinder camera to have the standard 24 X 36mm format. The S2 has a larger viewfinder window than the Nikon S which allows 1:1 viewing. A advance lever replaces the advance knob of the Nikon S. The S2 had the largest production run of all Nikon rangefinder cameras. A Nikkor-H-C f2 / 50mm lens is attached.
