1938-39 Speed Candid was the first
American made camera with a cloth focal plane shutter. Features include
an extinction meter, a non-coupled rangefinder, and lens
interchangeablity. Pretty impressive for a 1938 bakelite bodied camera.
Fairly uncommon. This example has a standard Graf Perfex Anastigmat
f3.5 5omm lens and the last picture shows the camera woith a Wollensak
Raptar Perfex f3.5 101mm lens. Surely a rare beastie.
