1936 Contax I (f) is the last model of the black contax I's begun in 1932. Film advance and shutter speeds are both controlled by the large knob on the front of the camera. The shutter is a vertically oriented shutter similar in appearance to a venetian blind. The entire back is removeable for easy film loading. The bayonet mounted lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f2.8 / 50mm. The last picture shows a single exposure back for scientific or copy work.
