1952 - 56 Diax Ia is a 35mm camera with interchangeable lenses and three finders but no rangefinder.  (The IIa would be the first with a rangefinder)  This version is shown with both a Schneider - Kreuznach Xenar f2.8 / 45mm lens and a Schneider - Kreuznach Tele-Xenar f3.5 / 90mm lens. Please note the finder windows at the rear of this camera. The lense mounting system is unusual in that it has a fixed male-thread ring affixed to the front of the shutter and a rotating female thread ring on the rear of the lens.
